Donate to the chattanooga free store!
Donate Money
All donations go to essential items that our community members have access to for free, and to pay the rent and utilities for our space. The Chattanooga Free Store is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, and your donation is tax deductible. You can also make a recurring donation through PayPal, which helps us keep the lights on each month!
Donate Items
We accept non-consumable items that are gently used, like clothes, kitchenware, small appliances, and other household items. Clothes must be washed before being donated. We update our social media every week with the items we are accepting – we may not be able to accept certain items, especially clothes, due to space constraints.
We also accept unused consumable items like shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, and other hygiene products. The exception is menstrual products, which can be accepted in an open package as long as they are individually wrapped, and diapers, which can be in an open package.
Some of our most needed items are diapers, baby wipes, bar soap, body wash, hair products, toothbrushes and paste, menstrual products, toilet paper, cleaning products, and PPE. You can also buy items for us from our Amazon wishlist.
Items can be dropped off at the Free Store (1701 Dodson Ave, Suite C) during our open hours.
